‘Top Chef’ star Naomi Pomeroy found dead at 49 in river, days after going missing

Naomi Pomeroy, a renowned figure for her culinary expertise on Top Chef, has sadly left us.

The body of the Portland chef was discovered in a river on July 17, following a report of her disappearance a few days earlier. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office has verified that she perished by drowning.

The examination indicated that Pomeroy, her spouse Kyle Linden Webster, and a friend got intertwined while using connected tubes and a paddleboard.

The Corvallis Fire Department rescued the other two grown-ups by the shore and took them to a boat launch. Unfortunately, they couldn’t find Pomeroy right away, as per the sheriff’s office.

When Naomi went missing, Sheriff Van Arsdall promised, “We are working hard to find her and bring her back to her family. Thank you to everyone helping in the search and rescue efforts.”

They found her body when some people in canoes saw it. The officials said she couldn’t get loose because of the leash on the paddle board.
