When 22-year-old Billie engaged in a social media “post a picture” challenge in 2020, her followers were taken aback by the picture she posted.
Her first album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, quickly climbed to number one in both the US and UK and became one of the best-selling albums of 2019.

The picture featured several snakes along with various nude illustrations.
Even though the drawing only showed a naked female body, it managed to offend a lot of people.
Billie’s following decreased rapidly, as one of them noticed and posted a note about it on social media.
The singer appears to have noticed it herself since she also commented on the dispute on Instagram Stories, writing: “LMFAOOO y’all babies smh”.
She actually talked candidly about what she described as her “favorite subject matter” in a recent interview.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Eilish went on: “I basically talk about sex any time I possibly can. That’s literally my favourite topic.”
“My experience as a woman has been that it’s seen in such a weird way.”
