A physician present to observe the tragic shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis this past weekend has made the alarming assertion that federal agents “counted his bullet wounds” rather than providing the necessary first aid.
Just weeks after the death of 37-year-old mother Renee Nicole Good, who was shot by an ICE agent while attempting to flee a dangerous situation on January 7, another U.S. citizen has been fatally shot by federal law enforcement.
ICU nurse Alex Pretti, also aged 37, was in Minneapolis during ongoing protests against the Trump administration’s stringent measures on illegal immigration. ICE agents have been patrolling the city for several weeks, apprehending individuals they suspect to be residing in the USA without proper registration.
In a disturbing event captured from various angles, Pretti was shot and killed by ICE agents seemingly after he had been subdued.
The Department of Homeland Security – which readers may recall was quick to label the previously mentioned Renee Good as a “domestic terrorist” who attempted to run over ICE agents with her vehicle – promptly released a statement asserting that the agent who shot Pretti acted in self-defense, noting that Pretti was armed with a handgun.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara, on the other hand, stated that Pretti is believed to have been a lawful gun owner, possessing a permit to carry.

At the time of this writing, there is no indication that Pretti had any intention of harming ICE agents. In fact, his family has released a strong statement asserting the opposite.
A witness, a physician whose testimony has been submitted to federal court, stated that they did not observe Pretti wielding a weapon towards the agents.
“I witnessed him shouting at the ICE agents, but I did not see him assault the agents or display any type of weapon,” the witness recounted regarding Pretti.
“Abruptly, an ICE agent pushed him to the ground. My perspective of the confrontation was somewhat blocked, but after a brief moment, I noticed at least four ICE agents aiming firearms at the individual. Subsequently, I observed the agents fire at the man at least six or seven times.

The witness stated that they made an effort to address Pretti’s injuries; however, the ICE agents present opted to focus on the victim’s ‘bullet wounds’ instead.
“I was perplexed as to why the victim was positioned on his side, as that is not typical procedure,” the medical professional remarked.
“Assessing for a pulse and providing CPR are standard protocols. Rather than performing either of these actions, the ICE agents seemed to be tallying his bullet wounds.”
Border Control has asserted that Pretti was attempting to “massacre law enforcement.” Meanwhile, the family of the 37-year-old has appealed to the public for assistance in ‘helping to reveal the truth about our son’.
Rest in peace, Alex Pretti.
