Following his Super Bowl halftime show, people are trying to guess Usher’s age – and getting it so wrong…
The eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer took to the stage last night for the most coveted concert of the year.
But his performance has been overshadowed by one thing.
Fans are trying to guess Usher’s age, and they couldn’t be more wrong…
Last night, the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the San Francisco 49ers with the Chiefs winning 25-22.
And in doing so, they became the first team in 20 years to win back-to-back Super Bowls!
But the game itself wasn’t the only aspect of the Super Bowl to gain a whole heap of attention.
Usher’s incredible halftime show also has the entire internet talking.
The ‘Yeah’, ‘Confessions’, and ‘Love in This Club’ singer took to the stage alongside special guests like Alicia Keys, will.i.am, Ludacris, Lil Jon and HER.
People have been absolutely loving the performance, and have taken to social media to share the love.
One person writes: “Usher was amazing, his halftime performance was everything.”
“No cap, Usher delivered a top 5 all-time Super Bowl halftime show,” someone else says. “He had the hits, the guest appearances, the choreography, the marching band, flawless transitions, ROLLERSKATING! That performance was undeniable.”
Another viewer agrees: “Usher ripped his shirt off, roller skated on stage, killed it with iconic songs, and just doing the MOST AND loved every moment of it. What a performance!!”

A fifth fan pens: “Usher killed that! One of the better performances I have seen.”
Prior to the show, Usher admitted that it was ‘a challenge to squeeze 30 years into 13 minutes’, as per the BBC.
However, it wasn’t just the epic performance that had everyone on the internet talking.
Talk quickly turned to exactly how old Usher is – and it turns out, everyone had it majorly wrong!
The majority of people’s guesses fell around the mid to late 30s.
One even took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say: “No way he is a day over 37!”
While another said: “He honestly can pass for 37-38 truly.”
Another guessed even younger, thinking he was still in his 20s, adding: “He ain’t even old enough to have a mortgage yet!”
But let’s just have a think about it.
Usher released his first, self-titled album back in 1994 – 30 years ago!
So he can’t possibly be in his 30s, can he?
It turns out that Usher is something of a prodigy, though, as his first professional musical release did come out when he was a teen.
Usher was 16 when ‘Usher’ came out. He was born in 1978, making him 45 years old!
