Leonardo DiCaprio had a surprising answer when asked why he doesn’t date women over the age of 25.
DiCaprio, 49, is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and has appeared in blockbuster hits such as Titanic, The Revenant and Shutter Island.
But outside of his incredible acting portfolio, there’s been a major controversy which has haunted DiCaprio’s life.
The Don’t Look Up actor’s unconventional dating habits have long been the subject of online debate.
And now, DiCaprio’s answer to questions about his age-gap preferences has left the internet stunned.
It’s not just that DiCaprio seems to have a preference for a younger lady. It also seems as though he has a firm cut-off point at the age of 25.
Two of his more high-profile relationships ended mere months after his partner hit the fateful age, with both actor Nina Agdal and model Camila Morrone getting the chop.
Previously, an inside source revealed the secret reason why DiCaprio doesn’t want to date women older than 25…
And now, a model who apparently had an encounter with the star has revealed his surprising response when she questioned him about his habit.
Last year, speaking to the New York Post, a source said: “By the time girls reach 25, they’re looking for more – they’re looking to get married and settle down.
“That is not what Leo wants. He does not want a family and does not want to be around women who may press him for that.”
They continued: “The minute a girl meets him, the clock is ticking.
“If she gets too old, in a couple of years, she is gone. If she gets too close, in a couple of years, she is gone.
“He’s gotten older but his taste has not gotten any older.”
Former adult star Mia Khalifa even offered her opinion in a viral tweet, writing: “Maybe it’s not Leo dumping his girls as soon as they turn 25.
“Maybe his girls outgrow him when their brain fully forms at 25 and they realise they don’t want to be with a 48-year-old manchild.”
But now, model Hieke Konings has revealed the truth, straight from the horse’s mouth…
In an interview with the Dutch edition of Playboy, she says: “It was in a secret club in LA, one where you only get in by invitation. I saw him sitting there in his black hoodie and black cap and we made eye contact.”
She claims the two ended up sharing a kiss, which she describes as: “OK, but definitely not the best I’ve had.”
But seeing an opportunity to grill DiCaprio about his taste in younger women, Koning asked him about the controversy.
She claims the Killers of the Flower Moon actor had a surprising response as he admitted he was ‘guilty’.
Yikes.
