Elliot Page has gone public with his first relationship since coming out as transgender.
The 38-year-old revealed that he is romantically linked to “Overcompensating” star Julia Shiplett.
In celebration of Pride Month, the “Umbrella Academy” star shared a photo cosying up to Julia on a rainbow painted street. He captioned the post with a rainbow and love heart emoji.
Julie also posted a shirtless video of Page on her Instagram Stories, celebrating pride.
Page, previously known as Ellen Page before his transition, came out as a lesbian in 2014.
In 2018, he married Emma Portner who supported him through his transition in 2020. Sadly, in 2021 the couple divorced revealing they had been separated since summer 2020.
Julia is the first relationship Page has gone public with since his transition but the actor revealed he had been dating in private beforehand.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, he shared: “It’s the most fun I’ve ever had dating. Interacting with people feels so much easier and more connected, because I’m not feeling lost in myself and not seen in the right way,”.
Before transitioning, Page dated Samantha Jones, Olivia Thirlby, and Kate Mara.
