Glamorous Sorority girl explains why she fled from police before second arrest

Viral Sorority girl faces second arrest after attempting to flee

Lily Stewart, a 20-year-old sorority girl from Georgia, has made headlines again. She was arrested for the second time this month after attempting to escape from police. Her reasoning? She was already “out on bond.”

Just days ago, Stewart’s first mugshot went viral. The University of Georgia (UGA) student was seen smiling in an off-the-shoulder top after being arrested for reckless driving.

On March 8, Stewart was pulled over for driving nearly 30 miles over the speed limit. Initially, she received only a ticket.

However, moments later, she was immediately arrested after attempting to speed off.

However, her mugshot from that arrest quickly gained attention online.

Social media users praised her looks, with some even calling her “Miss America.”

Her attorney later confirmed that the speeding charge had been dropped.

In exchange, she must complete a defensive driving course, perform 20 hours of community service, and write a paper on the dangers of speeding.

On Sunday, Stewart found herself in trouble again. She and a group of friends triggered an intrusion alarm at a UGA student center.

When police arrived, she attempted to evade them.

Then she sprinted away and crouched behind a brick wall while officers questioned her friends.

However, her hiding spot was quickly discovered.

When confronted, Stewart admitted her reason for running. “I didn’t want to get caught doing anything bad because I am out on bond right now,” she told officers.

She also acknowledged responsibility, saying, “Was it the trespassing? Truly, that was actually my fault.”

According to report, Stewart was booked on misdemeanor charges of obstruction and loitering/prowling.

She was taken into custody at 5:30 a.m. but posted her $4,000 bond within hours. By 11 a.m., she was out of jail.

Her friends faced additional charges, including underage drinking, loitering, and possession of a fake ID. However, police noted that Stewart showed no signs of intoxication.

Stewart Speaks on viral fame

Despite the online attention, Stewart has not commented on her second arrest. However, she previously addressed her first viral mugshot.

“I was smiling because I always smile for a photo,” she told TMZ.

She also told PEOPLE she didn’t think the image was flattering. “I actually think it’s a bad photo of me,” she admitted. “I don’t really look the same as I do in that mugshot.”

For now, Stewart remains in the public eye as social media continues to follow her legal troubles—and her viral mugshots.
