Jake Paul drops massive hint over Mike Tyson replacement fight with former world champion tipped to step in
Jake Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson on July 20 has been postponed.
Jake Paul appeared to hint at his next opponent after his fight against Mike Tyson was postponed.
YouTuber turned boxer Paul was meant to fight former heavyweight world champion Tyson at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.
However, it was confirmed last weekend that the fight has been postponed indefinitely.
A statement read: “During a follow up consultation on Thursday with medical professionals on his recent ulcer flare up, the recommendation is for Mike Tyson to do minimal to light training over the next few weeks and then return to full training with no limitations.
“Both Mike and Jake are in agreement that it is only fair to ensure that both athletes have equal training time to prepare for this important match and are able to compete at the highest level.
“The health and well-being of athletes is our top priority, and we fully support Mike in taking the necessary time to allow him to perform at the level he expects of himself.”
On the back of the news, Paul may have hinted that he needs to shed some weight for his next fight.
He wrote: “No more heavyweight eating for Mike Tyson for the next few weeks. Bye bye pizza:(. Back down to 219 already
“It was fun being fat 🙁 I will miss you fat jakey you were so cute and fluffy.”

Recently, Paul has been linked with fighting Amir Khan, who last fought in 2022.
Khan said to Offshore Poker Sites: “If the weights are right [I would step in for Mike Tyson] I don’t mind giving away 20 pounds. It just depends on the weight because I know Jake has put on a lot of weight to fight Mike.
“Jake’s not normally that big, but he’s put on a lot of mass, so it depends on him, whether he’s willing to lose that weight and we find some middle ground somewhere.”
He added: “But it’s KSI who has been speaking the big game and once he’s taken a beating, and if I’m going to do that, I may as well bang both of them out.
“I’d take on KSI first and then knock Jake Paul out after that. Let’s see how he looks against Mike Tyson, if he gets knocked out badly I wouldn’t entertain it, but if he looks really good, then it would be worth entertaining.”
