Chuck Norris has been super popular for many years. He’s known for being really strong and has gained millions of fans around the globe.
He has black belts in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and judo. Plus, he created Chun Kuk Do, which is a mix of different martial arts styles, including Traditional Taekwondo like Tang Soo Do and Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo.
In addition to his big career in Hollywood, he’s also a devoted family man with five kids. Chuck and his wife Gena O’Kelley, who used to be a model, have been happily married for over 22 years. What’s really great about Norris is that he always finds ways to show Gena, and everyone else, just how much she means to him.
In 2013, Chuck’s father passed away from cancer, and since then, Chuck has been working hard to fight against the disease. He raises awareness and talks openly about his experiences. Chuck believes in the importance of catching cancer early, so he travels around the country to share his message with different organizations about how crucial it is to get regular check-ups.
At the same time, Chuck’s everyday life is a struggle because of his wife’s illness.
In 2013, Gena went in for a regular MRI scan, and before the scan, she got an injection that is usually given to patients. Right after that, she began to feel tremors and a burning sensation all over her body. It was really tough for doctors to figure out what was wrong because they didn’t know what could have caused that terrible burning feeling.
The main problem was that the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her, and they had no clue what was causing her symptoms, which just kept getting worse.
“Just a few hours after my first shot, it felt like my entire body was on fire, like acid was flowing through me. At first, the burning was just in one spot, but then it spread everywhere. I ended up lying in bed with an IV for five months and needed nursing care all the time. Chuck stayed right by my side on the couch and never left me. I prayed every day that I would get better and be able to raise my kids,” she shared.

Chuck’s health seems to be pretty stable right now, and he hasn’t had any big physical problems lately. But there are some whispers that back in 2017, he had two heart attacks after he collapsed at a casino hotel.
Gena was really scared when the medics rushed in to use a defibrillator to get Chuck’s heart going again. His heart and breathing stopped for a few seconds, but thankfully, they were able to stabilize him.
A source told Radar, “Most men half his age would have easily died from this, but Chuck is still in great shape.”
