Everyone is mourning the loss.
A quite popular face of the US adult film industry has passed away at just 31 years old. LuLu LoveBottom, whose real name was Lucas Drake, died on September 7. The Los Angeles Police Department got a call around 11:22 that morning, and officers confirmed his death shortly after.
Drake, who also went by the name Hunter Hardin online, had built a big following with over 300,000 fans across his social media pages.
Before getting into the adult industry, he was an athlete who played college baseball.

Drake also worked as a burlesque performer and often spoke about his personal life in interviews.
In a 2025 interview with Out Sports, he explained what the work meant to him.
“It allows me to identify my femininity with my masculinity,” Drake said. “I’m oiled up, but I let myself express my femininity as well. It feels authentic and reflects the journey I saw for myself when I was younger.”
He also opened up about his struggles with depression during a 2025 interview with Queerty.
“I’m a happy and bubbly person, and I also like to dance around and have some fun. But I’ve also been depressed,” he said.

Drake said he felt happy at the time and did not shy away from discussing his mental health. He also described how his art helped him express difficult emotions.
“I like to use my art to express those feelings,” he said. “A lot of it is pain and abandonment, a lot of suffering through romance.”
Drake shared a final message on social media before his death. The post said, “I love you and I’m sorry I was unable to make it to the end. Goodbye forever. Love, Lulu.”
Police are still looking into how he died, and they haven’t shared any more details yet about what happened. Just a few days ago, another well-known name in the adult industry, Christian Styles, died at only 29 years old.
Drake had remained active online and continued to connect with fans through his work and social media till the very last moment, which is more painful for his fans, actually.

Adult film star LuLu LoveBottom, whose real name is Lucas Drake, died on Sept. 7. He was 31.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told PEOPLE that dispatchers received a call at 11:22 a.m. on Sept. 7, and officers “responded for a death investigation” and “completed a death report.” The case was not registered as suspicious, the spokesperson added.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed to PEOPLE that Drake’s death was associated with the case. An official cause and manner have not been released.
The content creator, who used the name Hunter Hardin online, maintained a following of over 30,000 across his X and Instagram accounts, where he promoted his profile on OnlyFans, a subscription-based platform known for adult content.

About five years ago, the former college football player discovered his love for burlesque at a ballroom event in the Phoenix area, launching his career as a performer.
“It allows me to identify my femininity with my masculinity,” he said of burlesque in an interview with Out Sports in 2025. “I’m oiled up, but I let myself express my femininity as well. It feels authentic and reflects the journey I saw for myself when I was younger.”
In the interview, he also shared that he had experienced “a lot of depression” throughout his life and said that he turned to athletics as a “relief.”
“I’m a happy and bubbly person, and I also like to dance around and have some fun. But I’ve also been depressed,” he said in an interview with Queerty in 2025. “I’m happy now, and it’s not something I’m shy about talking about. I like to use my art to express those feelings. A lot of it is pain and abandonment, a lot of suffering through romance.”
On Sept. 7, shortly before his death, Drake shared his final post to Instagram, writing, “I love you and I’m sorry I was unable to make it to the end. Goodbye forever. Love, Lulu.”
“Been hurt for the last time by someone I shared my heart with 💔” he added in the caption.
Cleodora Productions — whose producer, Cleodoraa, he called his “burlesque mom” in his interview with Out Sports — remembered the performer as “the sweetest, softest, silliest, most caring, special soul who became a close friend to many of us outside of shows.”
“His energy was infectious and he lit up every room he walked in to and every stage he set foot on,” the tribute continued. “My beautiful boylesque baby and my dear friend.”
Friends of the late performer also flooded the comments of his final post with tributes.
“You were truly one of the happiest and sweetest people I’ve ever met, and I’m so grateful we got to share so many great memories and fun times together,” penned Johani Montero. “As soon as I heard the news, all those memories came rushing back, and I think that’s what we have to hold on to—the love, the laughter, and all the good times we shared.”
“My heart is broken with this news. I only got to meet him once and he left such a kind, warm impression on me,” shared a friend who uses the handle “oheyoscar.” “Reading through these comments I can tell how much of an impression he left on everyone else as well, especially those closest to him.”
