Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are making a style statement as newlyweds.

On Sunday, Sept. 6, the couple, both 36, stepped out for dinner at Indian restaurant Ambassadors Clubhouse New York in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan.

Swift opted for a striped silk-blend halter neck maxi dress by Stella McCartney, which she teamed with a bag also from the designer and metallic Aquazurra sandals. The singer also showed off her new shorter hair, which she debuted at the wedding of recording engineers Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk in the U.K. on Aug. 15.

Kelce wore a cream-colored pinstriped short-sleeve short and brown pants with black-and-white checkered sneakers. He topped the look off with black sunglasses.

An insider told PEOPLE that the Grammy winner and Kansas City Chiefs tight end dined with two men in the restaurant’s lower ground main dining room area, ordering “a variety of classics from the menu,” including beverages and dishes.

The Northern Indian hotspot, inspired by the region’s “party mansions,” features Punjabi dishes like Beetroot Raj Kachori Chaat, a semolina puff filled and topped with a variety of ingredients, and Shahi Patiala Suckling Lamb Raan, a lamb dish, according to its website.

The outing comes two months after the pair tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3 — an event Kelce called the “best night” of his life.

The couple exchanged vows before an estimated 1,000 guests, including hundreds of A-list celebrity friends and industry tastemakers. “They were both beaming the entire night,” a guest told PEOPLE. The ceremony was officiated by friend Adam Sandler, who advised the pair to “keep kissing,” according to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

The couple made their first appearance as newlyweds at Kelce’s former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster’s nuptials to Laura Kruk on July 10. Guests spotted Swift in a strapless pink dress — Markarian’s $4,115 Laila floral brocade gown — with her signature red lip, while Kelce sported a charcoal suit. The newlyweds were hand in hand as they made their way to the ceremony.
