Britney’s previous relationship with Sam Asghari saw the two tie the knot in 2022 after six years of dating. However, they decided to go their separate ways a little over a year into their marriage.

In an Instagram post on October 21, Britney shared a video of herself wearing a white wedding dress and veil, sparking plenty of buzz online.
The caption read: “The day I married myself …”
Although Spears has disabled comments on her Instagram post, fans didn’t hold back from sharing their thoughts on Twitter.
Many have expressed their support for the pop icon.
Another chimed in, saying: “She’s very empowering, this will be followed by millions of people across the globe,”
A third added: “Congrats to britney spears for marrying herself.”
However, not everyone is on the same page, with some expressing confusion or concern over the announcement.
One person wrote: “It’ll never last.”
