Forget the fireworks erupting outside of your windows as we speak, as Jeremy Clarkson reckons he’s got something which will outshine any of the rockets flying around tonight.
Not to be outdone by an age-old tradition which originates from the 1605 Gunpowder Plot, the presenter with a flair for the dramatics used some pyrotechnics to announce that his hit show will be returning for a fifth season.
That’s right, Clarkson’s Farm fans – there’s plenty more animals, agricultural advice and muck to come.
Clarkson obviously wanted to announce this in a special way, and it ended up being just as dramatic as you’d expect.
An Instagram post shared by Amazon Prime sported the caption: “It’s the 5th November… this just felt right. Clarkson’s Farm S5 is officially in production.”
Take a look at Clarkson’s dramatic reveal here:
Clarkson theatrically told fans: “Over the years, bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements – the birth of baby Jesus, for example.
“But tonight, they are being used to make an announcement that is even bigger than that.
“Season five of Clarkson’s Farm is coming. Eat your heart out James Burke.”
