Mother Uncomfortable Over Woman’s ‘Inappropriate’ G-String Swimsuit – But Swimmers Divided

A woman recently caused a stir at a family water park by wearing a swimsuit that has reignited a contentious debate.

The swimsuit, nude-colored with minimal straps, left little to the imagination, exposing her buttocks.

This has sparked a renewed call from some parents for a ban on such revealing swimwear in public pools.

The controversy surrounds the use of G-strings at public pools and water parks, as the trend continues to divide opinions among swimmers.

The debate intensified after a daring swimmer went viral for wearing what many deemed an “inappropriate” swimsuit.

The outfit was so revealing that it left her buttocks completely bare, drawing significant attention at a family-oriented water park.

Images of the swimsuit quickly went viral, leading to widespread debate over appropriate attire in public swimming areas.

In response to such incidents, a group of mothers started pushing for a ban on G-string swimwear at swimming pools.

They argue that young women wearing “itsy bitsy teeny weeny bikinis” make them uncomfortable when they are out with their children.

A petition spearheaded by Amy Dixon, titled “Ban G-string swimwear – keep our pools a family friendly space,” highlights these concerns.

Dixon explains: “Recently while at my son’s swimming lessons I couldn’t help but notice a young lady walking around in a very revealing piece of swimwear.

“The term itsy bitsy teeny weeny bikini seems to have taken on a whole new meaning with the G-string bikini becoming a popular choice among some of our young women.”

Dixon further added: “My family has often been left feeling uncomfortable, and the enclosed area means looking away or moving spaces is not always an option.”

Public sentiment seems to back the frustrated school mum.

Anna Rotheray commented: “It’s an act of exhibitionism and instinctively many view bare butts as a bit feral and primate like.”

A TikToker named Kim Stram shared a video capturing another woman at a waterpark dressed in a similar, scantily clad manner.

The video shows the woman in a nude-colored bathing suit with a G-string thong, staying primarily in the wave pool crowded with young children and parents.

When she turns away from the camera, it’s evident that the back of her swimwear consists merely of a thin strip of fabric, with a unique zigzag feature across her shoulders.

Behind her, a man in sunglasses stands, prompting Kim to ask, “Is it appropriate for a family water park, or not?” and stating:

“Thoughts?! I don’t think its appropriate there’s kids all around her, but she looks great!”

The video quickly gathered various opinions in the comments.

One user mentioned, “People keep saying there’s kids around but the kids don’t care. The women are just concerned their husbands are looking.”

Another defended the woman’s choice of attire, saying, “Her decision. Her choice,” but critiqued, “What’s not appropriate is the man’s behavior in sunglasses.”

Yet, some argued that the woman should have considered the setting more carefully.

One viewer expressed, “It’s called having respect for others and their family, this world doesn’t have it anymore.”

Another added, “It definitely isn’t appropriate and for those of you saying kids don’t care, you’re part of the problem, kids follow what they see and think is okay.”
