Here’s what The New York Post reported:
President Biden on Tuesday made his first public appearance since dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, arriving at Dover Air Force Base on his way to the White House.
Biden, who had been recovering from COVID at his beach house in Rehoboth, Del., saluted and smiled as he exited his motorcade and walked slowly toward Air Force One while reporters shouted questions at him asking how he felt.
“Well,’’ the president responded twice before continuing to lumber toward the jet, gripping the railing as he slowly climbed up the steps, holding a blue face mask in his left hand.
The president briefly paused at the top of the stairs to salute and give a quick wave before boarding the aircraft.
After being declared dead and rumored to be in hospice care, Joe Biden makes his first public appearance since stepping down from the 2024 elections.
