Wayne Lineker names the two huge sporting figures who spent the most money at his Ibiza club

Two sports stars went big at Wayne Lineker’s Ibiza club.

Wayne Lineker has revealed the two sports stars that have spent the most money at his Ibiza club – and one might surprise you.

The 62-year-old, who is the elder brother of England legend Gary Lineker, owns the O-Beach Club in Ibiza.

High-profile figures from the world of sport and celebrity often frequent the beach club, with the likes of Jack Grealish, Peter Crouch, Maya Jama and Ed Sheeran spotted at the resort in the past.

Lineker opened up his first bar in Tenerife back in 1986, when he was 24 years of age, and has since opened up outlets in Marbella and Ibiza.

Given the names that have visited the club, it hardly comes as a surprise that Lineker receives a huge amount of takings from the venue – but which two sports stars have actually spent the most?

According to Lineker, the joint accolade goes to UFC legend Conor McGregor and boxer and YouTube star KSI.

Speaking on the Let Me Land podcast, the 61-year-old revealed: “I had sorted everything out for KSI. Made sure he was on the owner’s table – it’s the best spot.

“And, because they’ve got the boat with 100 bottles of champagne on, that was all going to the table. They did it right. But yeah, KSI was probably, as far as celebrities go, the biggest party.”

Lineker added: “We have other people that just go crazy and spend a lot of money. Obviously, Conor McGregor… he parties! When he walks in it’s just a parade. He’s got all his security with him.”

McGregor, 35, visited the club back in 2022 to celebrate his 34th birthday, inviting friends and family to a VIP area – but things turned sour when he clashed with a partygoer.

KSI, meanwhile, is believed to have spent a whopping £51,000 on 600 bottles of champagne back in March.

He is currently awaiting his next boxing fight, having last fought to a unanimous decision defeat to Tommy Fury back in October.

McGregor, meanwhile, was due to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in his return fight, but it was postponed after the Irishman suffered an injury and a new date is yet to be set.

So, footballers are not the biggest spenders when they visit Lineker’s club, with the likes of Grealish, Jude Bellingham and Joe Hart visiting the venue in recent years.
