So much for being a gracious winner…
Last night (September 28), Pérez from Argentina faced off against Russia’s Zheleznyakova in the Women’s Bantamweight division at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
However, the match had controversy even before it began, with both fighters struggling to make weight.
Concerns grew when footage showed Pérez visibly shaking on the UFC scale, raising eyebrows about her condition going into the fight.
Despite the shaky start, Pérez came out on top, winning by submission in the first round.

As Zheleznyakova got to her feet, Pérez continued her in-ring celebration.
Unsurprisingly, this bold display ignited reactions across social media.

Not everyone was amused, though. Another user wrote, “Having someone twerk in your face after getting finished is the ultimate disrespect wow.”
Others shared similar sentiments, calling it “so disrespectful,” with another chiming in, “Low class.”
“So for me, I was happy they gave me an opponent with this level of experience because since I started in the UFC, they’ve been giving me a lot of UFC veterans that have at least five fights in the UFC.

She continued, praising UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard: “Mick Maynard is doing a great job of setting my career up in the UFC, getting the right fights for me.
“I’m done asking for specific names. I’m already in the top 15, so I’m going to stop asking for anyone because everyone who I call out ends up running away anyways.”
