This video comes after Lizzo addressed rumors suggesting her weight loss was due to taking Ozempic.

In another post, Lizzo shared a montage of herself working out at the gym, captioning it: “IM NOT SKINNY. IM FHICK.”

This isn’t the first time Lizzo has been linked to Ozempic, as even South Park made some cutting jokes about the subject.

It’s also not the first time she’s spoken out about her body changes and weight loss.

Speaking with The New York Times in March, Lizzo emphasized that her weight loss journey has been slow and deliberate, saying: “I’ve been methodical, losing weight very slowly.”

In another interview, she added: “I don’t really see it because if anyone who’s on a natural weight-loss journey knows, losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world and you don’t really notice it until you notice it.”

Lizzo is not the only celebrity wrapped up in Ozempic talks. Last month, comedian and TV host James Corden admitted he had tried it as well.

While chatting with guest Richard Osman on his podcast This Life of Mine, the 46-year-old revealed that he had tried Ozempic, which is typically used to treat type 2 diabetes and is not FDA-approved for weight loss.

The drug, which got FDA approval in the US back in 2017, is a weekly injection that helps control blood sugar levels by helping the pancreas produce more insulin.
