The Wolf Of Wall Street was Margot Robbie’s big break, and it came with some intense scenes alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
Margot Robbie admitted she was afraid she might ‘stab’ Leonardo DiCaprio during a famous scene in The Wolf Of Wall Street.
The movie, directed by Martin Scorsese, tells the real-life story of stockbroker Jordan Belfort, portrayed by DiCaprio.
Robbie played Naomi Lapaglia, Belfort’s fictional second wife, in a role that marked her breakthrough in Hollywood.
In this scene, Naomi catches Jordan cheating and decides to punish him in her own way.
She seduces him but keeps her distance, asserting her power with a well-placed heel to his face, reminding the out-of-control banker how badly he messed up.

“My first scene in the movie I’m wearing this vintage Herve Leger bandage dress.
“For Naomi, for this character it’s like her sexuality was her currency in this world — especially the effect she could have on Jordan was the way she could control and manipulate situations.”
Robbie also shared a particularly awkward moment involving DiCaprio’s e-cigarette during an intimate scene.
Reflecting on this mishap, Robbie recalled what happened on The Talk in 2015: “I don’t know if he wants me telling this story, but we’d just finished this scene and Leo always carries an e-cigarette with him, like all the time.”

“I was looking around with him – both still sitting in this bed – and then I went, ‘Oh, um, it’s literally, like, in my butt crack. I’m sitting on it. I am so sorry’.”
Robbie has mentioned how strange and uncomfortable filming those scenes could be.
Speaking to Porter magazine, she described how surreal it felt on set:
“For 17 hours I’m pretending to be touching myself. It’s just a very weird thing and you have to bury the embarrassment and absurdity, really deep, and fully commit.”
