Liam Payne Spoke Out About Diddy Before He Died

Following the deeply saddening announcement of Liam Payne’s passing at 31, a horrifying resurfaced video of him talking about Diddy has gone viral.

Payne, who rose to international fame as a member of One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan, passed away last week at the age of 31.

The incident occurred at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, where Payne was staying, while a post-mortem indicated that he died due to multiple injuries consistent with a fall from around 45 feet.

But following this tragedy, an interview of Payne talking about a terrifying encounter with disgraced rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has resurfaced.

Investigations into Payne’s death are ongoing, with officials reviewing hotel security footage, mobile phone data, and other materials found at the scene.

During one call to local authorities, a hotel manager reportedly expressed concern over a guest ‘off his head on drugs’ and creating a disturbance.

On a follow-up call, the manager feared the guest might be in danger due to his room’s balcony.

Amid this, fans have been mourning Payne’s death with tributes at memorials outside the hotel and in Manchester, displaying flowers and photos of Payne with his bandmates.

Following Payne’s tragic passing, a petition advocating for “Liam’s Law” has gained significant support, with over 41,000 signatures.

This proposed legislation aims to protect mental health among young stars by urging the entertainment industry to prioritize artist welfare.

Payne’s family released a heartfelt statement through his spokeswoman, saying: “We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts, and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny, and brave soul.”

Cheryl Cole, Payne’s former partner and mother of his son, Bear, also spoke out, hoping the world remembers that he was ‘not just a popstar, but a human being.’

And in the wake of Payne’s passing, an odd interview clip is raising disturbing questions about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Back in November 2023, Diddy’s former girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, better known as Cassie, filed a lawsuit that accused him of abuse, which allegedly included forcing her into relations with other men and numerous instances of assault.

The civil suit claims Cassie met Combs in 2005 when she was 19, and he was 37. Their turbulent relationship lasted over ten years until their breakup in 2018.

While the lawsuit was settled within a day, more accusations have since emerged.

Earlier this year, federal agents raided Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles, ultimately leading to his arrest in Manhattan after a grand jury indictment.

Despite entering a not-guilty plea, Diddy remains in custody, as bail was denied following his arrest on September 16.

Following the tragic death of Liam Payne, a disturbing X (formerly Twitter) post shared on the day of his death concerning Diddy has garnered over 6 million views.

The post included a video in which Payne allegedly discussed ‘a very awkward moment’ with rappers Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Jay-Z.

The user claimed that Payne recounted ‘a chilling encounter’ with the two music icons, stating that Combs’ ‘evil laugh’ left the singer ‘deeply unsettled.’

The clip originated from Payne’s appearance on The Graham Norton Show, a British late-night talk show.

He was featured alongside guests Salma Hayek and David Walliams, as well as actors James Buckley and Ed Westwick later in the episode.

The segment aired on May 27, 2017, and focused on Payne’s transition to a solo career following One Direction’s indefinite hiatus in 2016.

During the show, Payne recounted his experience meeting Combs, whom he referred to as P. Diddy, and Jay-Z at an event.

Payne mentioned that he approached him to say hello while Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio were also present.

David Walliams humorously interrupted, saying: “I think you’ve dropped enough names! We don’t need to hear about other people who were in the room,” to which Payne sheepishly apologized and shifted back to his story.

He explained that he was trying to identify the ‘easy target’ to approach and decided on P. Diddy.

After shaking hands and greeting him with, ‘Aw, nice to meet you!’ he was met with Diddy’s prolonged handshake and an unsettling ‘Heh-heh-heh-heh,’ which left him wondering when it would end.

The situation escalated when he attempted to lean in to speak to Jay-Z, only to be roughly shoved by the rapper’s bodyguard, causing him to fly across the room.

Laughing off the incident, Payne concluded: “I was like, right, I’m just going to go and sit over here with Ellie Goulding now. Thank you, that’s enough. A very awkward moment.”

Payne’s experience with Combs was also mentioned during an interview on Australian radio with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O on KIIS FM in 2017, where he recounted a similar story.

While the original audio of that interview is no longer available, an archived version confirms it was once accessible, per Snopes.

Diddy’s trial is scheduled for May 2025, and as more details emerge, his legacy in the music industry faces increased scrutiny.
