A 26-year-old mom with 22 biological children says she won’t stop having kids until she has over 100.
People who plan on starting a family generally have an idea of how many children they want – maybe it’s two, or maybe even five.
But for one woman, she dreams of having an extremely large family, to say the least.
Russian mother Kristina Ozturk, who lives in Georgia, is just like any other mom – except she has 22 kids and claims that’s just the beginning!
The mom reportedly wants to have as many as 105 biological children and astonishingly, she welcomed 21 little ones via surrogate in just over a year.
But she’s not on this astonishing adventure on her own, she’s welcomed her enormous family with her millionaire husband Galip.
Kristina, who shares her first child, Victoria, with a previous partner, is also the mom of Mustafa, Maryam, Ayrin, Alice, Hassan, Judy, Harper, Teresa, Hussein, Anna, Isabella, Ismail, Mehmet, Ahmet, Ali, Kristina, Alena, Sarah, Lockman, Alparslan, and Olivia.
In an interview with The Sun, Kristina said she doesn’t necessarily want the biggest family in the world, but she is aiming for the happiest.
She shared: “I’ve dreamed about this since childhood. My husband also dreamed about having a big, happy family. So after we met, we started to put our dream into action.”
To expand their family so quickly, Kristina and Galip have used surrogates – but she hasn’t ruled out having more naturally.
The mom explained: “I’m planning my pregnancy, but not straight away, because for now, I need to be close with my babies.”
To handle such a large family, Kristina and Galip have reportedly employed 16 full-time nannies on a $500 salary each, per month.
The children also work through 20 large diaper boxes each month and 53 packs of baby formula, costing around $5,000-6,000 weekly for the essentials.
When it comes to getting sleep, Kristina jokes she’ll ‘sleep a lot in another life,’ explaining that the babies are in bed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. while she sleeps in until 7 a.m.
Unsurprisingly, the mom-of-22 has faced some criticism regarding her exceedingly large family – but Kristina says it’s no one else’s business.
“To people who disagree with my choices, I say don’t have so many kids if you don’t want them, that’s your choice,” she told The Sun.
“Don’t use surrogacy if you don’t want, that’s your choice. But this is our life, and it’s our choice.”
