There’s one trait that ‘everyone with ADHD’ struggles with, and it’s not good for your health
A man with ADHD has shared the one particular trait that can strongly suggest you have the disorder.
Statistics from ADHD UK reveal that 2.6 million people in the country have been diagnosed with the condition alone, though this obviously doesn’t include those who haven’t been diagnosed, which could be a much larger number.
You may not know that you have ADHD, but there are hacks that could be useful to you, such as the ‘poop hack’, which could signal that you have the disorder.
It was recently found that cannabis can help those with ADHD, particularly the bad habits around it and more specifically, overthinking.

Health experts have weighed in on the topic more and more in recent times – with those with neurodivergent symptoms displaying different behaviours to things such as TV shows and film for example – but one factor seems to be affected most by those with ADHD – and that’s sleep.
It could be something as simple as struggling to get out of bed in the morning, but Eric Zink – also known as Mr. Impulsive – posted on his second TikTok account, LifeOfZink, to speak about one other common bad habit among those with the disorder.
Describing the behaviour as a ‘self-sabotage’ and ‘very common’ among those with ADHD, he added that we will rationalise that we can carry this out because you ‘spend all day long doing stuff for other people’, which is how your brain ‘tricks’ you.

It’s called ‘revenge bed time procrastination’, as Eric explains: “It is a form of how our brain self sabotages ourselves for dopamine searching. That’s why we get on and we start scrolling, because we will justify it as me time.”
We tell ourselves that we need it, but he reveals: “Next thing you know we’re not paying attention to the time, now we should have been asleep.”
Admitting that he still falls victim to the bad habit today, Eric said that he often runs an hour or two past his planned bed time, explaining that another problem arises.
“All of a sudden, I’m struggling trying to go to sleep because all I’m doing is upset with myself and this is something that’s very common with ADHD – revenge time procrastination,” the TikTok creator said.

So, how do you avoid this from happening?
The social media influencer explained that it’s all about having a routine and habits before bed, which can prevent this from happening altogether.
“I have my habits in routines before bed, but if I do not stick to my routine before bed, I will revenge procrastinate my bedtime and I will screw myself on sleep,” Eric admitted.
Concluding, he said that he wished he knew younger, as ‘everyone with ADHD pretty much struggles with this’, according to the mental health guru.
