Taylor Rousseau Grigg’s passing was announced earlier this week
TikTok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg’s cause of death has been revealed.
The 25-year-old social media influencer boasted over 1.4 million followers on the app and was known for sharing candid content on her day to day life.
On October 5, her husband, Cameron Grigg announced that she had passed away, describing her death as ‘sudden and unexpected’.

A representative for the family has now reportedly confirmed to Today that Taylor’s death was caused by a severe attack and consequent complications.
Cameron paid tribute to his late wife on Instagram earlier this week writing: “No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age. This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime.
“And in spite of that she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.”

“She is the most brave and strong woman I know,” he continued. “And her confidence in the Lord outweighed every other circumstance she’s faced, even in her darkest hours. I know she’s saved my life and so many others out there.”
Cameron went on to explain that Taylor’s organs would be donated to those who require them, clarifying that the TikTok star would want ‘to save people’s lives’.
“More than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world,” he stated.
“And even though her earthly body may have failed her, her memory and life will be carried on forever.

“While her earthly body is still here waiting to give the gift of life, we know her spirit is in heaven dancing in the streets made of gold with all her beauty and grace. Her endless shoe/boot collection. And her rhinestones and turquoise jewelry.”
Cameron concluded: “With this being so sudden and unexpected we don’t have anything financially in order. Taylor has been in and out of the hospital since we got married which has affected our financial situation, therefore we don’t have any insurance.”
A GoFundMe page has been set up by a friend ‘for anyone who would like to contribute’.
At the time of writing, the fundraiser has seen close to $52,000 raised for Taylor’s family to help ‘cover the costs’.
“Her social media family was a huge blessing in her life and we cannot thank you all enough for the love and support that you have brought her,” the GoFundMe stated.
