As if there isn’t already enough to digest from yesterday’s Super Bowl LX, a streaker was thrown into the mix.
Yep, that’s right, in case you missed it, in the middle of the NFL final between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, a shirtless man stormed the field.
The shock moment occurred during the fourth quarter of the game, which took place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday (8 February).
The streaker in question sprinted on from the south end zone and almost made it across the whole field before he was taken down by Patriots wide receiver Kyle Williams and swarmed by security.
Social media footage showed how officials piled on top of him to make sure he wouldn’t be able to pull free, before escorting him away – although, he did a get a cheeky wink to the camera slipped in there before he disappeared.
Understandably, people have been demanding to know who the streaker is, especially due to the cryptic message written on his chest.

In thick black ink, the man had ‘Trade in the blind spot’ written on his torso and ‘Trade with Athena’ along with his social media handle on his back – quite the risky promo tactic!
NBC opted not to show the incident on their live broadcast in order to to prevent copycats from following in his footsteps, however videos of the moment have gone viral online.
According to The Express, the field invader has now been named as Alex Gonzalez, and allegedly he’s a repeat offender.
The publication reports that just two years prior, he and Sebastian Riviera charged onto the field field during Super Bowl LVIII between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Again, with their tops off and their social media handles scribbled onto their chests.
As reported by The Mirror, the duo were marched to the Clark County Detention Centre on misdemeanour charges of prohibited conduct at a sporting event and custodial records showed charges of grand larceny, assault on a public officer and obstruction.

Gonzalez said at the time to his social media followers: “Literally just paid $42,000 to go to jail. One of my goals has always been to streak the Super Bowl. And I don’t want to be that guy, that I’m rich and I’m 50 years old and I’m like, ‘Damn, I wish I would’ve done that when I was younger.’ No. I did it now and I’ll do it again.”
He’s right about one thing – he did do it again.
Before his erm, streaking career, Gonzalez, who is reportedly a millionaire, started out at Dunkin Donuts before getting into trading and reportedly at one point earning over $100,000 from a single session.
Nowadays, he showcases his luxurious lifestyle on social media, including his lavish multi-million-dollar properties, luxury cars and expensive travels.
Reacting to the moment, people penned on Twitter: “The best advertising ever…” and “Cheaper advertising than paying for a commercial during Super Bowl.”
While a third joked: “He was like… NOPE.. when he saw that Patriot player ready to tackle him.”
