Users online have a wild theory after JD Vance and his wife, Usha, announced just last week that they are pregnant with their fourth child.
The Second Lady took to X, formerly Twitter, on January 20 to share the news.
She said: “We’re very excited to share the news that Usha is pregnant with our fourth child, a boy.
“Usha and the baby are doing well, and we are all looking forward to welcoming him in late July.”
She added: “During this exciting and hectic time, we are particularly grateful for the military doctors who take excellent care of our family and for the staff members who do so much to ensure that we can serve the country while enjoying a wonderful life with our children.”
The announcement was met with hundreds of well-wishes from adoring Republicans, yet others have developed a strange theory about the pregnancy.
JD Vance and Usha’s family
Married for over ten years, Usha and JD currently share three young children, Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel.
The couple met at Yale Law School in 2010, and allegedly bonded over the ‘social decline in White America.’
After developing a strong friendship, the two married in 2014.
Born and raised in the suburbs of San Diego, California, to immigrant parents, Usha had moved to the US from Andhra Pradesh, India.
Prior to becoming the Second Lady, Usha was a registered Democrat until as recently as a decade ago.
And now, her pregnancy as Second Lady has proven to be record-breaking.
Usha is now the first to have a baby while serving as the Second Lady of the US, though first ladies have welcomed children while their husbands were in office.
Erika Kirk controversies
While many people wished the two well, others brought Erika Kirk into the conversation.
Erika and JD became closer following the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk, who was a close friend of the Vice President’s.
While the mom-of-two found comfort in her friendship with JD, it wasn’t long before the internet created their own narrative about Erika and JD’s relationship.
During a Turning Point USA event at the University of Mississippi, an ‘awkward’ photo of Erika and Vance went viral online.
In what some have described as an ‘inappropriate hug,’ Erika brought her hand up to Vance’s hair, and when they let go, Vance’s hand dropped to her hip.
Rumors spiraled further when, shortly afterwards, Usha was spotted without her wedding ring.

The Second Lady was spotted numerous times without her wedding ring, which prompted her to release a statement clarifying the matter.
In the statement addressing the rumors, her rep said: “She’s a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes.”
And now, following the pregnancy announcement, people have put together a bizarre theory.
What is the wild theory?
While numerous theories emerged following the news, one gained more traction than the others.
The theory suggests that based on calculations, Usha and JD conceived their fourth child around the time that Kirk was shot and killed.
Proposing the wildly inappropriate twist, one wrote: “You don’t announce until at least the first trimester is over so by my calculations, they had s** the day Charlie Kirk was killed.”
Given that Kirk died in September, another added: “Late July babies are often conceived around Halloween.”
It’s important to note that while the theory has gained traction, there is no way of knowing whether it is true or false.
But it’s not the only bizarre theory that has emerged following the news.
Others have suggested that the baby is actually Erika and JD’s, being carried by Usha.
One user on X wrote: “I am starting a rumor that it’s actually Erika Kirk who is pregnant but Usha is gonna pretend that she is pregnant and then gonna raise Erika’s baby as her own, so it won’t come out that Erika got pregnant after Charlie’s death.”
Another added: “It’s Erika Kirk and JD’s child. Usha is the surrogate.”
Other people alleged that the pregnancy is a cover-up for JD’s ‘affair’ with Erika, which, to public knowledge, didn’t ever occur.
One said: “I can’t believe JD impregnated Usha just to distract everyone from his affair with Erika Kirk and also the Epstein files.”
