Hawk Tuah girl has addressed speculation she is suing the creators of the video that made her an internet sensation.
The social media star, whose real name is Haliey Welch, rose to a somewhat unexpected fame after she was asked in an interview to name a move that makes men ‘go crazy’ in bed while on a night out.
Welch (now famously) said: “You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang. You get me?”
And I think we have all worked out by now what ‘That thang’ refers to, but for those who haven’t, it essentially means an intimate act.

After Welch went viral in June, she has been everywhere on the internet – including on her brand new podcast.
However, recent speculation has suggested that the newfound influencer is suing Tim Dickerson and DeArius Marlow, the creators of the clip that made her famous.
Twitter account DramaAlert suggested the pair confirmed the speculation as fact.
“The original filmers ‘Tim & Dee TV’ confirmed it seemingly in a TikTok comment. (This account is linked on their YouTube channel),” the Twitter account stated alongside screen grabs of the comments section.
However, Welch has now taken to Twitter herself to address the ongoing claims.

The social media star posted an image from Legally Blonde, which sees her face over the top of Reese Witherspoon’s in an iconic courtroom scene.
“Fake news,” the social media influencer captioned the snap, so that puts an end to that.
A Twitter user then shared a screenshot of comments seemingly suggesting she is suing, to which Welch responded: “If I sued it would be public but I guess clout is being chased.”
Those who are fans of Welch have been able to tune in to more of her life by listening to her podcast.
And one of the more recent episodes of the podcast saw Welch reveal a rather strange-looking pillow of her celebrity crush Matt Rife.

The influencer revealed in July on Whitney Cummings’ weekly podcast Good For You that she has a bit of a thing for the controversial comedian.
Luckily for Welch, Cummings happens to be a pal of Rife’s, so he quickly got the pair in touch.
After talking on FaceTime, Rife invited Welch to one of his shows in Nashville.
“I’m in Nashville August 24th doing Bridgestone Arena, do you want to come out?” he said.
Welch immediately accepted the invitation, which certainly didn’t come as a surprise.
