President Donald Trump is asking a judge to force Fulton County to reimburse him more than $6.2 million in legal fees

President Donald Trump is asking a judge to force Fulton County to reimburse him more than $6.2 million in legal fees after his Georgia RICO case was dismissed following the disqualification of District Attorney Fani Willis.

In a motion filed Wednesday, Trump’s legal team cited a new Georgia law that allows defendants to recover attorney fees and court costs when a prosecution is thrown out due to prosecutorial misconduct or disqualification. Trump is seeking $6,261,613.08, arguing the case should never have proceeded.
