BREAKING: OMG! Trump’s Venezuela invasion gets even darker as Stephen Miller is floated to “run” seized nation.

Fresh off an unprecedented military strike and the kidnapping of Venezuela’s president, Donald Trump is now openly bragging that the United States will seize Venezuela’s oil and “run” the country — and his White House is reportedly floating one of the most alarming names imaginable to help oversee the chaos: his current deputy chief of staff and fascist fan boy, Stephen Miller.

If this all sounds like a bad imperial fever dream, that’s because it is.

According to reporting cited by The Daily Beast, Trump’s gutted foreign policy operation — stripped of professionals and run by a handful of loyalists and business insiders — is scrambling to invent a post-Maduro plan on the fly, having neglected to consider the consequences of their invasion and formulate an operational plan in advance.

And with Secretary of State Marco Rubio already juggling three jobs, the day-to-day handling of a 30-million-person nation could fall to Trump’s deputy chief of staff and chief architect of mass deportations.

There is, to be clear, no legal or moral framework under which the United States can “run” a sovereign nation. But that hasn’t stopped Trump from threatening boots on the ground, demanding “total access” from Venezuela’s interim leadership, and declaring, “We’re in charge.”

Asked who exactly that means, Trump smirked: “It’ll be very controversial.” With the rumors of Miller’s appointment swirling, Trump can consider that as mission accomplished.

Miller’s potential elevation is especially chilling given his long record of racial grievance politics and authoritarian rhetoric. In a late-night post that read like a rejected manifesto from a 19th-century empire, Miller waxed nostalgic about colonialism, falsely claimed the West benevolently “dissolved” its empires, and complained about immigrants receiving “preferential treatment” — a fantasy that collapses under even basic historical scrutiny. This is the man now being whispered about as a steward of Venezuela’s future.

Meanwhile, administration officials are contradicting each other in real time. Trump boasts about running the country. Rubio insists reporters are “fixating” on the idea. Intelligence officials admit there was no serious plan for what comes next — even as Maduro’s allies remain firmly in power.

In other words: regime change first, homework never.

The same team that lied to Congress about its intentions, launched deadly strikes, and escalated toward open occupation now wants Americans to trust Stephen Miller with foreign governance — after turning cruelty at home into official policy.

This isn’t strategy. It’s imperial cosplay, driven by ego, oil, and ideology — with millions of lives caught in the crossfire. And if Stephen Miller really is the future of Trump’s Venezuela plan, the rest of the world should be very, very afraid.
