Children are frequently brimming with energy and ideas, with some exhibiting more than others.
I remember, for example, the occasion when I was around 5 years old and believed it would be a splendid idea to decorate my brother’s and my bunk beds using a marker pen.
I thought it was creative and beautiful… although my parents did not share the same sentiment.
These children from Surrey, UK, found themselves with a more pressing need to utilize their creativity. While participating in an Easter egg hunt organized as a charity event to raise funds for a boy suffering from leukemia, the children suddenly heard the sound of a helicopter.
Upon looking up, they discovered that it was a police helicopter.
The police were in pursuit of two suspected burglars when the individuals separated. The children were able to see the direction in which the men fled… and promptly took action to assist the officers above.
The children came up with an ingenious plan to lie down and create a human arrow using their bodies.
Initially, the police were puzzled by their actions – however, they quickly understood that the children were directing them towards the culprits.
The men, aged 27 and 28, were subsequently apprehended on suspicion of burglary, all due to the children’s astute idea. The police later returned to express their gratitude to the children for their invaluable assistance.
