A couple was left ‘mortified’ when one of their dads spotted a rude detail in their vacation photo.
Going on vacation with your partner can be incredibly exciting, especially if it’s your first time away together as a young couple.
You have more freedom and can loosen up away from prying eyes – so it’s not surprising you have more opportunities to be intimate with your partner.
Unfortunately for one woman, she unintentionally gave her parents an idea of what she was up to with her boyfriend when she sent them a seemingly innocent photo.
Kelsey, from the U.K., took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared the viral snap alongside the caption: “Sorry dad. Will not be sending more holiday pics in a hurry x.”
After she opened up about the embarrassing mishap, people took to the comments and reacted.
One person joked: “Aw man, you can’t come home from that holiday.”
Another added: “Dad’s worst nightmare.”
“She should know by now that dads with daughters are like the FBI,” wrote a third X user.
A fourth laughed: “Hahaha holiday fail! Epic.”
In the selfie, Kelsey and her partner Elliot posed in front of a mirror. In front of the mirror was a desk filled with bottles and cans, including lotion and deodorant.
Unfortunately for the couple, Kelsey’s dad decided to zoom in on the phone – leading him to spot an awkward detail.
The couple was left red-faced when Kelsey’s mom texted her: “Dad said the pics are lovely, nice Durex bottle.”
The Durex bottle contained a lubricant, which is used for s**ual intercourse to enhance pleasure and make things more comfortable.
Trying to cover up her embarrassment, Kelsey responded: “It’s Elliot’s knee cream!”
To which her mom replied: “Dad zoomed in!”
Although many people took to the comments and saw the funny side, Kelsey was unfortunately subjected to some hurtful comments too.
Responding to such messages, she tweeted: “Some people [are] getting a right little bee in their bonnet about a little bit of lube. Calm down darlings.”
