Stevie Nicks has been forced to cancel upcoming tour dates following a medical emergency.
The 77-year-old Fleetwood Mac singer has stated she will need time to recover following an injury that left the star in hospital.
The music icon was initially set to commence her tour this month, but noted that the dates in August and September will need to be rescheduled.
Rumors online of a Fleetwood Mac reunion spiraled recently, after social media activity from members Stevie and Lindsey Buckingham.
However, a fully-fledged Fleetwood Mac reunion is unlikely, particularly following the death of Christine McVie in 2022.
Mick Fleetwood, the drummer who co-founded the legendary rock group in the 1960s, noted that he would have liked to see the gang back together.
Speaking with Us Weekly, he said: “I always have a fantasy that [Stevie] and Lindsey would pal up a bit more and just say everything’s okay for them both.
“But we’ve had such an incredible career.”

The star revealed he had plans to bring the band back together before McVie’s death at the age of 79.
Following the injury, a post appeared on Stevie’s Instagram account announcing the news.
It read: “Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled.”
The statement continued: “Please note that October dates will be unaffected.
“Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone soon and apologizes to the fans for this inconvenience.”
But it’s not the only news for Stevie that has had people talking in recent days.
The music icon’s album with Lindsey Buckingham, which the duo made prior to joining Fleetwood Mac, is being reissued for the first time.
It was, very originally, titled ‘Buckingham Nicks,’ and was first released in September 1973.

The album was recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles.
And despite the record not being a commercial success, it led drummer Fleetwood to invite Stevie and Lindsey to join the legendary band.
Stevie and Linsey were romantically involved between 1972 to 1976, and their relationship ended just as the band began to gain significant fame.
The reason for the breakup was as a result of a mixture of issues, including their newfound fame, the pressures of being in the band, and the stress of trying to hold and make everything work.
Which ultimately, is exactly what stopped it from working.
Following the fractured shoulder injury, fans rushed to wish the star well.
One said: “Heal quickly and safely goddess.”
As another added: “Stevie! Please rest up. I’ve been trying to see you for ten years.”
“Sending positive vibes towards a successful recovery,” a third noted.
