A look into the lives of Ozzy Osbourne‘s ‘forgotten’ children as the family comes together in a private ceremony, to say farewell to the Black Sabbath icon.
Thousands of fans lined the streets of Birmingham, U.K., yesterday (July 30), to join the funeral parade in memory of the Prince of Darkness.
His wife, Sharon Osbourne, was visibly emotional as she stood alongside her children to lay flowers at a fan-made memorial.
She gripped onto her children as she read the touching tributes that had been left for her late husband.
A tearful crowd watched on as a hearse full of purple flowers slowly drove through the city center.
The Osbourne’s became a household name in 2002 when they let TV cameras into their chaotic lives, showcasing Ozzy, Sharon, and their kids Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39.
The couple’s eldest daughter, Aimee, now 41, was also in attendance at her dad’s funeral yesterday.
While her younger siblings found fame in the noughties by starring with their parents on the reality show, Aimee decided to keep more of a low profile.
She chose to avoid the spotlight by not featuring in their reality show, and is now a singer and actress who performs under the name ARO.
But she isn’t the only Osbourne offspring who is lesser-known.
The rock legend also has three other ‘forgotten’ children from a previous marriage.
Jessica, 45, Louis, 50, and Elliot, 59, are children he shared with his first wife, Thelma Riley.
Like other members of the family, Jessica works in the entertainment industry, and has been a producer for popular shows like Better Call Saul (2015) and Manhattan (2014).
The Black Sabbath star previously admitted that he wasn’t as close with his eldest children.
They were also ‘snubbed’ from the family announcement statement that Ozzy had died.
The note was signed off: “Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
Ozzy and Thelma’s son Louis was born in 1975, and it seems musical blood runs through the veins of the Osbourne’s, because the 50-year-old has his own record label.
Reports suggest that he lives in Birmingham with his wife and two children, and was spotted at his dad’s final gig just weeks ago.
Elliot Kingsley is the star’s adopted son, who was brought into the world by Thelma and a previous partner.
Ozzy adopted Elliot following his and Thelma’s wedding.
Little is known about the 58-year-old, but it’s alleged that he worked as an actor for some time, similarly embracing the world of entertainment.
In the 2011 documentary God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, Jessica revealed details of her childhood.
She said: “My recollection from my childhood with dad is that he’d be away for very long periods of time, and there’d always be a period of adjustment when he came home, and then it’d get to normality and then he’d go again.
“So, it was a very erratic childhood with dad.”
