Jenner has had a prolific career, to say the least.
Remember when Forbes magazine controversially dubbed her as one of the youngest ‘self-made’ billionaires ever?
Her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics, also basically broke the internet when it first launched.
But on top of her business ventures, fans just can’t stop talking about Jenner’s love life.
Jenner’s on-again, off-again relationship with rapper Tyga lasted many years, with her even starring in his videos for ‘Stimulated’ and ‘Dope’d Up’.
But that was before she met Travis Scott.
In 2017, Jenner began dating the rapper, and the couple welcomed their daughter Stormi Webster in 2018, after a secret pregnancy.
Following the birth of their first child, it wasn’t long before Jenner and Scott decided to expand their family.
The pair actually originally split up in 2019, but quarantined together in 2020 for the sake of their daughter, causing them to rekindle their romance.
So, in 2021, the pair confirmed they were expecting another baby!
In February 2022, the couple confirmed that they’d welcomed a baby boy to their family.
Jenner took to Instagram and shared a series of images of her son for the first time, while finally confirming his new name.
The Kardashians star originally announced that she and Scott had decided to name their son Wolf, but she went on to say that it simply ‘didn’t feel like him’.
She said at the time: “FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him.
“Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”
The post has since been liked millions of times and thousands have taken to the comments and reacted.
One fan gushed: “Omg he’s so cute Ky!”
While a second person commented: “Stop! What a cutie.”
Although many are excited that Jenner has finally shared her son’s name, others are taking to social media and alerting the star of its very rude meaning.
Journalist Antoinette Lattouf has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) and questioned whether Jenner knew this when choosing the name.
In response to Lattouf’s post, one person responds: “That was my first reaction… she named her kid what?!”
“That poor kid is going to be renamed again,” another person jokes.
TikToker Bernadette Kirwan says: “Doesn’t she have Arab friends?
“At some point, this kid is going to end up in the Middle East and no one is going to call him by his real name.
“Who approved this? Like I know celebrities give their kids weird names, but this just takes it to a whole other weird level.”
Others are defending the star, with one saying: “Why does it matter if that’s not her language?”
Another writes: “And people wonder why she kept his name a secret. People will pick apart anything and everything.”
While one fan comments: “OK but do we have to fact-check our kids’ names in every language in the world? Don’t be silly guys.”
When announcing her son’s new name, Jenner wrote the caption: “AIRE,” alongside a white heart emoji.
“Umm, should someone tell Kylie Jenner she renamed her son a common Arabic expression for ‘my p**is’ or nah?” Latouff tweeted.
The journalist would then joke: “Anyway, I doubt many people have noticed. After all, Arabic is only spoken by around 415 million people.”
The name ‘Ayre’ can mean ‘p**is depending on its use’. However, it can also be ‘Arabic for best friend’, according to the Urban Dictionary.
