This Girl Spent 6 Years Fixing Her Jaw & After the Final Surgery, She Stunned Everyone with the Results – Her Transformation in Pics – Daily News

Kirsten Rendell was born with a severe underbite and narrow palate, which affected her speech, breathing, and self-esteem. Bullied in school and uncomfortable in photos, she decided at 17 to seek help. What followed was a six-year orthodontic and surgical journey to reclaim her confidence.

Her treatment began in 2019, involving braces, palatal expansion, and long delays due to hospital backlogs. At one point, her front teeth were pulled 17mm apart. The emotional toll was immense. “I never prepared for how tough this would be mentally,” she shared during the wait.

In July 2024, Kirsten finally underwent double jaw surgery, lasting 7.5 hours. Her upper and lower jaws were realigned, and her chin adjusted. Though recovery was difficult, she slowly regained her ability to eat, speak, and smile confidently again.
