Somebody else comments: “This series deserves support and is well worth watching, but you need to pay close attention – there are so many details to catch. 10/10.”

Critics have also praised the miniseries for its twists and turns.

Sarah Musnicky of But Why Tho? commends the series for its genre fusion, stating that it ‘crafts a story that twists and turns before delivering its definitive gut-punch.’

Similarly, Daniel Hart from Ready Steady Cut notes that the show: “Fools you into thinking this is a standard horror series, but it becomes so much more.”

Directed by Anuwat Prathumthong and starring Ploy Sornarin and Thitiwat Ritprasert, it follows Varee (Sornarin), a woman struggling to escape a traumatic past with her young daughter, Min (Racha Muanthong).

They seek refuge in an isolated, ancestral mansion in a rural village, hoping to start over.

However, the house is full of dark secrets, and as strange occurrences begin to unfold, Varee realizes that the house’s history might be more sinister than she ever imagined.

Don’t Come Home delves into themes of family trauma, guilt, and the supernatural, as Varee’s attempts to protect Min become increasingly complicated by the forces at play.

What starts as a typical haunted house tale evolves into a chilling narrative exploring the weight of the past and the consequences of buried secrets.
