Congratulations are in order for George W. Bush, the former president of the United States, for becoming a grandfather for the fifth time.
Bush, who is 78 years old, shared the exciting news about the latest addition to his family by posting a picture of his daughter, Barbara Pierce Bush, and her husband, Craig Coyne, holding their new baby boy, Edward Finn Coyne.
Edward Finn Coyne has arrived! @laurawbush and I are so excited to be grandparents to our little miracle, who was born on August 4. We chose his name to honor his great-grandfathers. Big shoutout to Barbara, Craig, and his big sister Cora Georgia!

Jenna Bush Hager, who is Barbara’s twin sister and co-anchor on the Today show, shared her joy about becoming an aunt again. She posted on Instagram, saying, “My sister had a baby boy, and I’m totally in love with Edward Finn! ,” along with some super cute pictures.
Barbara and Craig’s first child, Cora, was born in 2021.
Jenna has three kids of her own, and little Edward Finn is the fifth grandchild of the former President and his wife, Laura Bush.

When baby Cora came into the world, George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, happily shared the news on social media. They posted, “With so much joy, @laurawbush and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new granddaughter. Barbara welcomed Cora Georgia Coyne on September 27, 2021, in Maine, close to our family home where Barbara and Craig tied the knot. Cora is healthy and super cute, and we feel proud and thankful.”
The family hasn’t shared more information about baby Edward Finn’s arrival, but from the pictures posted by Jenna and the NYU Langone Health label on the baby’s hat, it seems that Barbara probably had the baby at the famous hospital in New York City.
