Brad Pitt Makes Admission About ‘Gay Experience’

Brad Pitt made a surprising confession during a recent podcast appearance.

Details of Pitt’s love life are well known, but the actor made an unexpected admission during a recent appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard.

The two have been friends for many years, after the Fight Club star met the American comedian at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in 2016.

Pitt, 61, admitted that he began attending the meetings following his complicated divorce from his then-wife Angelina Jolie.

The messy legal battle continued for the next eight years, until it was finalized officially in 2024.

The actor noted that he was ‘pretty much on [his] knees’ when he eventually decided to seek help in the form of AA meetings.

Speaking on the podcast, he said: “I was trying anything and everything, anything anyone threw at me… It was a difficult time. I needed rebooting.”

He noted that AA was a safe place for him to speak about his struggles, as he added: “It gives you permission to go, ‘Okay, I’m gonna step out on this edge and see what happens,’ and then I really grew to love it.”

Pitt also applauded Dax for sharing insight into his sobriety journey over the years.

“I just thought it was incredible, men sharing their experiences with their foibles, their missteps, their wants, their aches and a lot of humor with it.”

The actor stepped out with girlfriend Ines De Ramon on Monday (June 23) for the London premiere of his new film, F1.

Speaking to Access on the red carpet, the star confessed his love for De Ramon, thanking her for her support.

The couple were first linked in 2022, while spotted at a Bono concert, but have since confirmed their romance, stepping out as a pair on multiple occasions.

During the podcast episode, it wasn’t just his AA admission that fans picked up on.

Pitt also spoke about s**ual acts he was yet to encounter – one being a ‘gay experience.’

Speaking to Dax, he said: “You know, I’ve never had a gay experience.

“I kind of missed that window, but if I did, it wouldn’t be you.”

The World War Z actor has six children, who he shares with ex-wife Jolie – Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 16.

The star has not been pictured with his children since his split from Jolie in 2016, and it’s rumored that their relationship is complicated.

Jolie adopted Maddox from Cambodia in 2002 and adopted Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005.

In 2006, a judge approved the couple’s plea to give the children the ‘Jolie-Pitt’ surname.

Speaking about his kids with Esquire in 2006, Pitt said: “They’re as much of my blood as any natural born, and I’m theirs.

“That’s all I can say about it. I can’t live without them. So: Anyone considering [adoption], that’s my vote.”

Speaking to The Telegraph some years later about his parenting style, he added: “I am [a disciplinarian] with the boys. Girls do no wrong so I don’t have to be.

“I feel like my job is to show them around, help them find what they want to do with their life, put as many things in front of them, and pull them back when they get out of line, so they know who they are.”
