Actress Hailee Steinfeld was seen walking down the aisle to wed the Buffalo Bills quarterback, who is 29, at their wedding in California on Saturday, May 31.
In the wedding pictures, the bride is wearing a beautiful white strapless gown, complete with a long tulle veil and opera gloves. She also styled her hair in a traditional updo.
The couple — who first got together in May 2023 and showed off their relationship on Instagram in July 2024 — announced their engagement back in November.
They shared the exciting news through a joint Instagram post at that time, which included a picture of the NFL player kneeling in front of the Dickinson star, who is 28 years old. It seems like Allen really went all out for the beautiful waterfront proposal, creating a gorgeous arch decorated with roses and lots of candles.
In the caption of the post, they included the date of their engagement — Nov. 22 — and added two infinity symbols.
After the news broke that Allen proposed, a source informed PEOPLE that both families were “super excited” about this new chapter in their relationship. “They’ve been totally in love since the beginning,” the insider mentioned.
Steinfeld then revealed more about the sweet proposal in a cover story for Who What Wear that came out on Feb. 19. She explained to the magazine that Allen completely surprised her.
When she was asked if she had any hints before the proposal, she answered, “Oh my God, no! You usually chat with your girlfriends about that, right? You know, where you say, ‘I just don’t want to know.’ “
She mentioned that the romantic moment happened during a trip to Malibu, California, which she called her “happy place.”
“It was magical,” she said about the proposal. “That’s the word.”
Steinfeld also complimented Allen — who signed a new six-year contract with the Bills worth $330 million in March — for ensuring she was dressed appropriately for the event.
“I’m really thankful that he did it in a way that made me look good, and now we have these photos to cherish forever, so I won’t be looking back and thinking, ‘What was I wearing?’ ” the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse star joked to Who What Wear.
In February, Allen and Steinfeld made their first appearance as a couple on the red carpet at the 14th Annual NFL Honors in New Orleans. During the event, when Allen was awarded the league’s 2025 Most Valuable Player, they shared a sweet kiss before he went up to accept his trophy.
In his acceptance speech, Allen gave a little shout-out to Steinfeld, saying, “You’ve been my rock, you’re my best friend. I wouldn’t be up here if it weren’t for you.”
