Hungry seagull named Greg terrorising UK seaside town

The XL gully been causing chaos everywhere he goes

A hungry seagull named Greg is terrorising a UK seaside town leaving locals in fear for their pasties and pastries.

The XL gully who makes the streets of Bournemouth his home has been camping outside a local Greggs bakery and praying on unassuming puff-pastry passers-by.

Understandably his penchant for steak bakes and sausage rolls brought him the fitting name ‘Greg’ as well as a notorious reputation to boot.

One Bournemouth local claimed to LBC in a video that Greg had “flown down at him” and began to attack his head.

He went as far as to claim as women had had her head cut open after attacking her for a sandwich.

One woman said: “Just a few weeks ago I had a sausage, bean and cheese melt and I was attacked.

“I saw his shadow and I felt his wings beat on the back of my neck.”

However, she refused to pin the crime on Greg himself with the reporter joking that such an assumption could be “quite libellous”

While being home to hundreds of thousands of people in Bournemouth, like many populous seaside areas, the location is home to swaths of seagulls too.

Many have reacted to Greg the gull taking to social media to express their thoughts.

One user wrote: The birds are even going nuts for Greggs!

While another said: “To be fair, the seagulls were there first. Fair play to Greg”

Meanwhile one person wrote: “They really are vicious.”

Greg may have alluded the authorities for now, but the public should remain wary of any dive-bombing gulls from above looking to steal their warm pastry-based breakfast or lunchtime snack.
