A TikToker shared a chilling message about her husband before becoming the victim of a murder-suicide.
Jennifer Sheffield was looking ahead to better days after she and her former husband Brandon Sheffield were in the process of getting a divorce.
The two shared a young daughter, so they decided to do things amicably, with the 30-year-old even going as far as describing her estranged partner as “incredible” in a chilling TikTok video that has gone viral online.
“So, I’m about to be a newly single mom, and I am in the middle of divorce,” Jennifer said on December 10. “My husband is being incredible, though, and truly we are… we’re working together. Everything’s great.”

She noted that was impressed by how her divorce proceedings with Brandon were going.
“We’re splitting everything down the middle. Everything is good. It is a very civil divorce with our daughter in mind and I really appreciate that,” she continued in the clip.
However, she also explained that due to the split, she will now be looking for her own place, which means paying a mortgage and having a lower household income to support her daughter.
“I’m going to be a mom, single income right now, and he will be helping with her,” Jennifer continued. “He will be supporting her, so essentially, like, I’m really thankful for that.”

She concluded the video by asking social media users for tips on how to save money over the next few months while she finds her feet in her new situation.
“I’ve never done this before, I’ve never been on my own before,” the influencer confessed. “So, if you have any tips – saving money, making money, anything like that – I would really appreciate it,” she added.
Things took a dark turn when Jennifer stopped responding to her loved ones, so they did a welfare check on her, only to discover her dead body next to Brandon’s in what has now been confirmed as a murder-suicide.
Brandon Police Department chief Joseph French told Dark Horse Press that the bodies were found on December 28 around 7:19AM with obvious signs of foul play.
According to the authorities, it appeared as though Brandon had shot Jennifer before shooting himself.
“This is an ongoing investigation,” French later said in a statement to WJTV. “I would like to thank the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation for their assistance with the Crime Scene Unit to assist with processing the scene.”
