The ‘Beautiful’ star has been the subject of scrutiny in the media and on social media after showing off her ageless looks at her Las Vegas residency last year.

Many people suggested that the 44-year-old singer had been using Ozempic, a medication primarily used for type 2 diabetes, for weight loss.

Aguilera is very much aware of all the negative comments she has received about her appearance as she included them in a New Year’s Eve video montage.

The clip, which was shared on her Instagram on December 31, begins with screenshots of the numerous comments from online trolls slamming her looks.

One said: “I didn’t realize that was Christina she looks so different,” while another asked “How she was looking so good,” and a third simply wrote: “Fake.”

The video then featured exciting highlights from the past 12 months and was accompanied by audio that discussed ignoring haters and remaining confident.

The five-time Grammy winner penned a fierce reminder alongside the video, which read: “This year, doing something a little different. This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE.”

“No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation,” she continued. “I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy and no one is perfect. Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/ or what you don’t do.”

“Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there,” she wrote. “I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next every day in order to build the next version of themselves for the better. Allowing yourself grace, patience, and respect…”

Fans flooded the ‘Genie In A Bottle” musician’s comment section with support after reading her inspiring message.

“That is why I love you. You stand on business. You inspire me always,” one person said. “Love you for being who you are,” another added.

It’s not the first time that the star has opened up about her body image amid the weight loss drug rumors, and how she’s faced constant judgment throughout her career.

In an interview with Glamour last August, Aguilera said: “I have a maturity now where I just don’t give a f*** about your opinion. I’m not going to take it on. It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people’s opinions of me are not my business.”

Aguilera has been candid about her past struggles, especially during her rise to stardom in the late ’90s and early 2000s, where public scrutiny affected her self-esteem.

“When you’re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you’re in your twenties,” she said. “I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, ‘Oh, she’s getting thicker.’ Then I had industry people: ‘They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager.’”

She said that having children had played a big part in helping to shift her mindset: “Your kids trigger things in you that you don’t want them to go through. And it’s almost like you’re reliving this whole thing again.”

“I’ve seen so much so young. You just want the best for your kids,” she concluded.
