Justin Timberlake’s NSFW wardrobe malfunction has everybody making the same joke.
Timberlake is no stranger to making headlines, but his latest onstage moment wasn’t about a hit song or dazzling choreography.
During his concert in Nashville on Friday night, the 43-year-old pop icon found himself at the center of an unexpected viral moment when a wardrobe malfunction became the unplanned highlight of the evening.
Performing at the Bridgestone Arena as part of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, Timberlake delivered a set packed with his signature dance moves and chart-topping hits.
However, midway through his performance, a harness strapped around his waist drew more attention than his moves, thanks to its ill-fitting position.
Fans noticed that the harness had ridden uncomfortably high, accentuating an awkward area that Timberlake unsuccessfully tried to cover with his shirt.
A fan-captured video of the incident quickly hit social media, where it spread like wildfire.
In the clip, Timberlake can be seen tugging at his shirt and adjusting the harness, seemingly aware of the situation but unable to fully resolve it.
This isn’t the first time Timberlake has made headlines for a wardrobe mishap.
Fans were quick to draw comparisons to the infamous 2004 Super Bowl halftime show incident with Janet Jackson.
During their performance, Timberlake, as a surprise guest, accidentally exposed Jackson’s breast by ripping away a part of her costume.
The moment became one of the most controversial in live television history, overshadowing Jackson’s career while Timberlake largely avoided the long-term fallout.
