Many people thought that the late Steve Irwin’s kids had a tough job ahead of them when they chose to follow in his footsteps, but they are proving to everyone that they are carrying on their dad’s legacy in an amazing way. Their love for animals is huge, and they work hard to help protect different species.
Bindi Irwin and Robert Irwin, along with their mom Terri, are zookeepers in Australia and are dedicated to conservation, promoting, and safeguarding animals.
Bindi, who is now a mom to her daughter Grace Warrior, frequently shares pictures of her little girl and keeps her fans updated on important moments in her life.
She posted a picture of herself from the hospital and told her fans that after dealing with pain for so long, she has finally chosen to get treatment for a condition she has been struggling with.
Bindi found out that she has endometriosis, which is a condition where cells similar to those that line the uterus grow outside of it.
The thing is that she spent years trying to figure out what was wrong with her.
Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking for a while about whether or not to share my experience with you all in such a public way. I realized I have a responsibility to tell my story for other women who might be struggling, too. I shared on social media that for a long time, doctors didn’t take my symptoms seriously.
A doctor once told me that the pain I was feeling was just something women have to deal with, so I stopped trying to fight it and just lived with the hurt. I didn’t really get any answers until my friend @lesliemosier stepped in and helped me start to take back control of my life. I made the choice to have surgery for endometriosis, and during the procedure, the doctors discovered thirty-seven lesions and an ovarian cyst.

A friend of hers pushed her to find out what was causing the pain she had been feeling for such a long time. Eventually, she got a diagnosis and was able to start the treatment she needed.
“From the outside, everything might seem perfect in someone’s life, but that’s not always true. So please be kind and think twice before asking me (or any woman) when we plan to have more kids,” she shared.
“After everything my body has been through, I am so thankful for our beautiful daughter. She truly feels like a miracle to our family. I know there are millions of women facing similar struggles. There’s a lot of stigma surrounding this terrible disease. I’m sharing my story for anyone who might be quietly suffering and looking for answers. Let this be proof that your pain is real, and you deserve support. Keep looking for answers. www.endofound.org,” she finished.
