Back in 2013, the Australian actress catapulted into the mainstream after her role as Jordan Belfort’s wife, Naomi Lapaglia, in the star-studded blockbuster.

During the Martin Scorsese-directed flick – which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, and Matthew McConaughey – the actress had a scene in which her character wore nothing but stockings and heels.

Reflecting on the movie, the now 34-year-old Hollywood star admitted during an interview on Radio 1’s Screen Time podcast that she watched it with her family… which is a pretty brave move considering some of the wild scenes she performed.

The Barbie star went on to explain to the host and viewers that one of her siblings was so shaken by what he saw, that he didn’t talk to her for a while.

“I can’t tell you how uncomfortable that was. One of my brothers didn’t speak to me for three months afterward – not because he was mad, he was just, like: ‘I just need a minute before I can consider you my sister again,'”, Robbie said.

According to the Independent, the actress previously spoke about the nude scene during a recording for BAFTA: A Life In Pictures and shared that she was feeling very anxious before shooting the scene that was a bit too much for her brother.

“I’m not going to lie, I had a couple of shots of tequila before that scene because I was nervous – very, very nervous,” she said. “Honestly, I know it sounds silly now, knowing how big the movie became.”

“At the time I thought, ‘No one is going to notice me in this film.’ It kind of doesn’t matter what I do in this film because everyone is going to be focused on Leo and everything,” she continued. “And I was just kind of like, ‘I’ll slip under the radar.'”

In another interview with Vanity Fair, the Suicide Squad star reminisced on the early stages of her acting career and admitted that she wasn’t prepared for the consequences of stardom she encountered after starring in the 2013 hit.

“Something was happening in those early stages and it was all pretty awful, and I remember saying to my mom, ‘I don’t think I want to do this,'” she explained.

“And she just looked at me, completely straight-faced, and was like, ‘Darling, I think it’s too late not to.’ That’s when I realized the only way was forward,” Robbie added.

Robbie recently welcomed her first child – a baby boy – with her husband  Tom Ackerley.

Deadpool & Wolverine may have been one of the biggest movies of 2024, but there was one moment that was just too much for the franchise’s new owners.

Released back in July, the third installment of the Deadpool movie series saw the ‘Merc with a Mouth’ finally team up with the X-Men’s Wolverine in a highly-anticipated flick that was full of fan service, easter eggs, and plenty of breaking the fourth wall.

One of the recurring themes throughout the movie is the fact that both Deadpool and Wolverine have now joined Marvel’s Cinematic Universe (MCU) following Disney’s purchase of Fox back in 2019.

Throughout the movie, Deadpool – played by Ryan Reynolds – jokes that Disney is going to make Hugh Jackman continue to play Wolverine “until he’s 90”, and there are plenty of references to Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige.

With Deadpool & Wolverine being the first R-rated movie of the MCU, it was interesting to see just how far Reynolds and director Shawn Levy were able to push the script.

And although there was plenty of blood and gore, as well as a host of f-bombs and sexual jokes, there was one joke that Disney demanded was cut from the movie.

Back in September, Reynolds told audience members at the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York that he was initially concerned about seeing “red lines” all over the Deadpool & Wolverine script, but was incredibly happy with the end result, calling Disney and Marvel “great partners” to work with.

But he also mentioned that there was one joke that Disney cut.

Now, thanks to the script being submitted for awards contention, fans finally know what the joke was.

The joke would have been delivered after Deadpool and Wolverine first meet the other surviving heroes in the Void. After being introduced to Elektra, Blade, and Gambit (whose names are coded in the script – most likely for secrecy), it is revealed that there is a fourth.

To which, Deadpool asks if it is Magneto.

After being told that Magneto had been killed, Deadpool would have replied: “F***! What we can’t even afford one more X-Man? Disney is so cheap. I can barely breathe with all this Mickey Mouse c*** in my throat.”

…I wonder why Disney wanted it cut?

Of course, fans of the movie will remember that the line Reynolds delivered in the end was: “F**k, now Disney gets cheap? It’s like Pinocchio jammed his face in my a** and started lying like crazy.”

Which, I think we can all agree is much funnier anyway.

In fact, TMZ has reported that sources close to Ryan Reynolds report that it was Disney CEO Bob Iger who requested — rather than demanded — that the joke be removed from the movie.
