Earlier this week, the Oscar-winning actor, 50, was spotted leaving a hotel in Nadi on Fiji’s main island where he was bid farewell with a traditional serenade performed by the staff at the establishment.
However, rather than embracing the cheerful song, he seemingly kept his head down and decided to take a phone call.
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star then exited the revolving doors as the singing continued and slowly died down.

A video taken at the scene was reposted to X (formerly Twitter) by the Daily Mail and people couldn’t help but comment on DiCaprio’s “rude” behavior.
“Don’t waste your energy my fiji whānau, he’s so disrespectful omg,” wrote one user.
“Very rude,” another added.
A third stated: “Ohhh what a snob. At least he should have acknowledged the welcome by our country. No place like Fiji.”
Some people wondered whether this could have been a privacy issue.
“Some people just want to be left alone,” one user pointed out and this person also agreed, writing: “Man. That’s actually more disrespectful of the hotel. High profile guests should be confidential.”
Another added: “They are using his celebrity status to draw attention to their hotel. Do they hold goodbye ceremonies for all the guests?” to which someone responded confirming that they actually do.
The hotel puts on a cheerful farewell for shuttles leaving the venue.
“Then kinda disrespectful that he didn’t even acknowledge them. Courtesy would be to wave and thank them, at the least. If they were doing it just for him, that would be different,” the user said in response to the confirmation.

It’s not known for what reason DiCaprio was in Fiji, though he has partnered with the South Pacific country in the past via his conservation organization, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation (LDF), reports confirmed.
In 2017, the organization offered grants to give rural communities access to better renewable energy sources.
