The TikTok content creator Bella Bradford has recently announced her own death in a heartbreaking pre-recorded video.
The TikToker based in Australia had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in her jaw at the age of 24, and unfortunately it was not a curable one. She had built up a platform for herself making videos about everyday life and living with cancer as a young person.
Bella was diagnosed in 2021
Back in December 2021, Bella Bradford had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in her jaw which at the time she had initially mistaken for wisdom tooth pain.
The doctors later revealed otherwise, and she would have to undergo treatment for cancer.
The TikToker underwent surgery
Bella had to have tumor removing surgery in her jaw and then do constant rounds of radio and chemotherapy in order to heal. She also had to relearn how to speak after her surgery.
It was a clearly difficult time for the 24-year-old.
Unfortunately her cancer would be incurable
While Bella underwent surgery and multiple forms of therapy to beat the aggressive cancer in her jaw, the illness would later be regarded as incurable.
This left Bella placed in palliative care, a form of care which aims to improve the lives of terminally ill patients.
Bella posted about her everyday life
Like many TikTokers on the video sharing app, Bella shared her passion for fashion and her love for clothes with her viewers.
She would regularly make Outfit of the Day (OOTD) videos as well as Get Ready With Me (GRWM) ones.
The fashion lover stunned in her videos
The TikToker’s love for fashion and clothing would shine through in her videos. She would regularly do outfit checks for her viewers who she knew loved her style.
Bella would also post about her life with cancer, with her account bio reading: “Lover of Life & Clothes etc.”
She shared a last video
In a pre-recorded video posted on TikTok, Bella explained it would be her last one, saying, “I have terminal cancer and unfortunately, by now, my life has come to an end, and I’ve passed away.”
She had planned the 11-minute video in advance.
She spoke more about her journey
“But I wanted to do one final ‘Get Ready with Me’ because I love doing these, and I love fashion. Thank you for following me on this fun journey,” Bella added.
The TikToker wanted to deliver one last video of her regular content.
Bella spoke from the heart
The content creator said, “I hope you will look back on all my videos and find a little bit of joy in your day if you ever need to feel it.”
She hoped that sharing her life online would inspire others.
Her love for fashion showed one last time
Bella’s final 11-minute video showed off a super cute outfit: a khaki dress paired with a white button up cardigan, and for accessories she wore a black baseball cap and sunglasses.
She then stepped back to reveal the outfit she put together and said her goodbyes.
Bella reiterated that she loved making videos
The post’s caption revealed that she had passed away on October 15, just over two weeks prior.
Bella ended the video saying, “I wish you all a beautiful life and please remember to live each day with as much significance as the next,” before adding, “What a privilege it is to grow old.”
