Elon Musk trolls Ellen DeGeneres after she left America after Donald Trump became president-elect.
The world’s richest man couldn’t help but poke fun at the comedian on X.
DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi have made the decision to “get the hell out” of America, according to sources close to the celeb couple.
TMZ reported that they were feeling “very disillusioned” with the news and have since put down root across the pond in the Cotswolds, South West England – about two hours from London.
Musk quoted an earlier post shared to X that seemed to suggest the comedian could have knowledge about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ‘freak off’ parties – which played a part in the rapped being arrested.
The post was shared by the comedian on November 4, 2016 and read:
‘Happy birthday, P Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, or as I call him, Cuddle McSnugglestuff. You don’t need to know why. @iamdiddy,’.
The person who shared the original post from DeGeneres captioned the screenshot ‘It makes sense why she fled the country after the election.’
One person responded to Musk’s post by sharing a screenshot of a New Republic article from earlier this year that included a direct quote from Musk that said: ‘I don’t know if you know this, but Puff is an investor in Twitter,’ Musk reportedly said, as quoted in Kate Conger and Ryan Mac’s book Character Limit. ‘You know, he’s a good friend of mine, we text a lot.’
This report follows many online flooding the retired comedians social media with questions following Trump’s win. One person wrote: “Didn’t Ellen say she’d leave the country if trump is elected?? 😭🇺🇸,” and another wrote: “Aren’t you supposed to be leaving the country by now,”.
The star has been vocal about her support for Kamala Harris, reportedly donating $3000 to her campaign and endorsing her on social media. See below:
