Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent revealed why she isn’t worried for daughters Ocean, 3, and Sosa, 2 months, to one day watch her wild antics on the Bravo reality series.
Lala Kent knows that it was her time.
So, the Vanderpump Rules star has absolutely no problem with her daughters Ocean, 3, and 2-month-old Sosa one day watching her dramatic antics on the Bravo reality series—once they are old enough, of course.
“There’s a lot of things I’ve done in my lifetime that I’m not proud of, but that’s life, right?” the 34-year-old told E! News in an exclusive interview on Nov. 18. “We’re not always going to be babies. We’re going to get older. We’re probably going to have a one-night stand. We may get a little too drunk. And, as much as I want to shelter her from the world, there is going to be a point in time where she has her own experiences, and she’s going to see mine as well.”
From her hookup with costar James Kennedy, drunken fights with numerous costars and messy breakup from Ocean’s father Randall Emmett, Lala is okay with her kids seeing her persevere through the best—and worst days—of her life.
“I have no fear when it comes to her Googling me or seeing the show,” the Give Them Lala podcast host continued. “My hope is that what she sees, she’s going to go, ‘Oh, my mom has lived some life.'”
And leaving room for mistakes is something Lala hopes to pass on to her daughters. That, and open communication as they get older.
“This is a judgment free zone,” she noted. “It may be a safe space for me to talk about things that maybe other people’s moms want to shelter them from. I find the more that we keep from the kids, or try to make it seem like this is a bad space, they’re curious. I want her to know I’ve been the drunk girl taking her top off in the waterfall. It’s mortifying now. So just think twice before you do something like that.”

As for how parenting two kids as a single mother has been since Sosa’s September arrival, Lala is adjusting just fine.
“Everyone prepared me for it to be a nightmare and to be really hard, so I was overly prepared for that,” she explained. “Because of that, I’m actually very surprised on how easy the transition was. I think it also helps that Sosa is a dream baby. She is the coolest. I sometimes have to walk up to her to remind her, ‘I know you’re here,’ because she just chills, kicks it. I’m obsessed with this baby.”
And Ocean is already doting over her little sister.
“She’s killing it,” Lala gushed. “She saw this baby and immediately was her protector.”
As for her recent partnership with Ninja Thirsti’s new ZERO SODA Flavor Drops, the Bravo star revealed how the drinks fit perfectly into her alcohol-free, adulting lifestyle.
“The partnership originated because of my love for sparkling water and anything that’s an organic fit for me,” she explained. “I’ve been sober for six years, and that’s when sparkling water really became my obsession and almost like my comfort. Anytime I was stressed or triggered, sparkling water was in, but the amount of cans I was going through, it was not okay. The Ninja Thirsti appears, and it was like the best of both worlds.”
