Sydney Thomas, the most popular ring girl from the Mike Tyson–Jake Paul fight, has experienced a significant uptick in her following since her appearance on Friday night.
Thomas, a 20-year-old University of Alabama student who works as a model and Fashion Nova brand ambassador, was branded the “real winner” following the night’s events and is still trending on social media.
As of Friday, the ring girl had just over 300K followers on Instagram, but she’s doubled that number since the fight and is well over 600K as of Tuesday morning.
This isn’t all that surprising, given Sydney’s looks and the exposure she got from the Netflix event. We expect her to be at a million by the end of this week.

Meanwhile, Sydney has offered a response to the attention she’s received since.
