Hawk Tuah girl has responded to rumors that she’s suing the creators of the viral video that shot her to internet fame.The social media star, whose real name is Haliey Welch, became famous unexpectedly after being asked in an interview to name a move that “makes men go crazy” in bed during a night out.

Welch famously said, “You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang. You get me?”

For those who might be unsure, “That thang” refers to an intimate act, as most of us have figured out by now.Since her viral moment in June, Welch has been everywhere on the internet, including launching her own podcast.

However, recent rumors have claimed that she is suing Tim Dickerson and DeArius Marlow, the creators behind the video that sparked her fame.

The Twitter account DramaAlert suggested the rumors were true, stating that the creators confirmed it themselves.

“The original filmers ‘Tim & Dee TV’ confirmed it seemingly in a TikTok comment. (This account is linked on their YouTube channel),” DramaAlert posted along with screenshots from the comment section.

But now Welch has addressed the situation herself on Twitter.

Welch posted an image from Legally Blonde, featuring her face over Reese Witherspoon’s in a famous courtroom scene.

“Fake news,” she captioned the picture, effectively shutting down the lawsuit rumors.

One Twitter user then shared a screenshot that appeared to show claims she was suing, and Welch replied, “If I sued it would be public but I guess clout is being chased.”

Fans of Welch can now follow her life more closely through her podcast, where she shares more personal stories.

In a recent episode, she even revealed a rather unique pillow featuring her celebrity crush, comedian Matt Rife.

Back in July, Welch admitted on Whitney Cummings’ podcast Good For You that she has a bit of a thing for Rife.

After chatting on FaceTime, Rife invited Welch to one of his shows in Nashville.

“I’m in Nashville August 24th doing Bridgestone Arena, do you want to come out?” Rife asked her.

Without hesitation, Welch accepted the invite, which didn’t come as a big surprise to anyone.
